Shipping policy
MARTINE | Shipping & Delivery Policy
Effective Date: October 11, 2026
At MARTINE, we coordinate shipping and delivery through a network of manufacturers, distributors, logistics providers, and fulfillment partners to serve hospitality businesses and individual customers.
Because our marketplace includes products of varying sizes, quantities, and fulfillment requirements, shipping methods, costs, and delivery timelines may differ by product and supplier.
1. Order Processing
Orders are processed according to the applicable supplier's inventory availability, business hours, and fulfillment schedule.
Processing times may vary depending on the merchandise ordered, order quantity, and fulfillment location.
Estimated processing and delivery dates may be displayed at checkout or provided through a written quotation.
Orders placed on weekends or public holidays may begin processing on the next business day.
2. Shipping Rates
Shipping charges are determined by factors including:
-
Product weight, dimensions, and quantity
-
Shipping destination
-
Carrier and delivery method
-
Supplier fulfillment location
-
Freight handling requirements
-
Special delivery services requested
Available shipping options and applicable charges will be disclosed during checkout or through a written quotation before an order is finalized.
3. Multiple Suppliers & Split Shipments
MARTINE operates as a multi-supplier marketplace.
Orders containing merchandise from different suppliers may be shipped separately and arrive on different dates.
Customers may receive multiple tracking numbers and shipment notifications for a single order.
Combined shipping is not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed.
4. Commercial & Bulk Orders
Large commercial purchases, case-pack orders, and project procurement may require specialized shipping arrangements.
Depending on the order, MARTINE or the applicable supplier may coordinate palletized shipments, less-than-truckload (LTL) freight, full-truckload shipping, or other commercial transportation services.
Commercial customers are responsible for providing accurate receiving information, including:
-
Delivery address and contact person
-
Business receiving hours
-
Loading dock availability
-
Liftgate requirements
-
Building access restrictions
-
Unloading limitations
-
Appointment requirements
Additional charges may apply for services requested or required beyond standard delivery. Such charges will be disclosed before purchase whenever reasonably determinable.
5. Furniture & Oversized Deliveries
Furniture, fixtures, equipment, and oversized merchandise may be delivered through specialized freight carriers.
Unless expressly included in the purchased service, standard freight delivery does not include:
-
Inside delivery
-
White-glove delivery
-
Furniture assembly or installation
-
Packaging removal
-
Placement in individual rooms
-
Removal of existing furniture
Additional services may be available by quotation.
Customers should ensure that entrances, elevators, corridors, and receiving spaces can accommodate the merchandise ordered.
6. Delivery Estimates
Shipping and delivery estimates are provided for planning purposes.
Actual delivery dates may be affected by inventory availability, production schedules, transportation conditions, weather, carrier operations, customs processing, or other circumstances.
Unless expressly guaranteed in writing, delivery dates are estimates rather than guaranteed arrival commitments.
MARTINE will make reasonable efforts to communicate material delays.
7. Order Tracking
Tracking information will be provided when available from the fulfillment partner or carrier.
Some commercial freight shipments may use freight reference numbers, bills of lading, or carrier communications rather than standard parcel tracking.
Customers may contact MARTINE for assistance with shipment status.
8. Receiving & Inspection
Customers should inspect shipments promptly upon delivery.
For freight shipments, customers are encouraged to:
-
Verify the number of packages or pallets received.
-
Inspect accessible packaging for visible damage.
-
Document visible damage or shortages on the delivery receipt when possible.
-
Take photographs of damaged merchandise and packaging.
-
Retain packaging and shipping documentation until a claim is resolved.
Please notify MARTINE of shipping damage, missing items, or delivery discrepancies as soon as possible, preferably within 5 business days of delivery.
Failure to report within this requested timeframe does not automatically eliminate rights or remedies available under applicable law.
9. Incorrect or Incomplete Orders
If merchandise is missing, incorrect, or materially different from the confirmed order, contact MARTINE with your order number and supporting details.
We will review the issue and coordinate an appropriate resolution with the relevant supplier or fulfillment partner.
Customers should not return merchandise without receiving return instructions.
10. Address Changes & Failed Deliveries
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery information.
Address changes requested after an order enters fulfillment may not be possible.
Carrier fees arising from incorrect addresses, missed delivery appointments, refused shipments, storage, or re-delivery may be charged to the customer where permitted by law and disclosed under the applicable shipping terms.
11. International Shipping
International shipping is available only for products and destinations expressly supported by MARTINE or the relevant supplier.
Where international delivery is offered, additional charges may include customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, and destination-specific handling costs.
Responsibility for these charges will be disclosed during checkout or in the applicable quotation.
Customers are responsible for ensuring imported merchandise complies with applicable destination requirements unless otherwise agreed in writing.
12. Special Orders & Made-to-Order Merchandise
Custom furnishings, manufactured-to-order products, personalized goods, and specially sourced merchandise may require production time before shipment.
Estimated production and shipping timelines will be communicated when available.
Changes or cancellations may be restricted once production or sourcing has begun, subject to the terms disclosed at purchase and applicable law.
13. Vintage, Antique & One-of-a-Kind Merchandise
Products purchased through MARTINE Found may require specialized packaging, handling, crating, insurance, or freight transportation.
Shipping arrangements will depend on the item's size, condition, fragility, value, and location.
Some specialty pieces may require a separate shipping quotation before purchase.
14. Rental Deliveries
MARTINE Rent products may involve delivery, collection, or setup through participating rental partners.
Rental delivery charges, service areas, scheduling, and handling requirements will be specified in the applicable rental agreement or booking confirmation.
Rental services are not governed by standard parcel shipping timelines.
15. AI-Assisted & Automated Orders
Orders submitted through authorized AI shopping agents or automated procurement systems follow the same shipping requirements as orders placed directly through MARTINE.
Automated systems must provide accurate delivery information, including any required commercial receiving instructions.
Shipping estimates generated by third-party AI systems are not binding unless confirmed by MARTINE at checkout or in writing.
Additional freight services or charges requiring customer authorization must be approved before they are added to an order.
16. Shipping Delays & Carrier Issues
MARTINE works with suppliers and carriers to help resolve shipping disruptions.
If a shipment is delayed, lost, damaged, or misdelivered, customers should contact MARTINE for assistance.
Responsibility and available remedies will be determined under the applicable transaction terms and law.
Nothing in this policy limits customer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
